February 14, 2007
I couldn’t resist the headline – Bird flu fears anew – The New England Journal of medicne has public access document for medical workers below:
Avian Influenza A (H5N1) Infection in Humans
The Writing Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) Consultation on Human Influenza A/H5
I have extensive earlier posts on H5N1 ‘Bird flu’.
Also considering my last twelve days have been spent at my mothers bedisde in a hospital here in the Philippines some advice. if by chance you do get sick make sure you go into a hospital that can handle the problem and stay away from Private Hospitals that mascaraed as centers of health but instead turn out to be blood-sucking leeches to anyone’s financail status.
It is actually better to go into a government hospital here in the Philippines and pay for additional private facilities. Many are actually better equipped.
