Philippine white House Spy case : “A shameful act” – statement
THE STATEMENT BY The Philippines Press secretary on the whole sorted "White-House Spy" caper brings to light; according to palace officials – "A whole new level of intrigue that some are willing to go to in their effort to rise to power by any means."
It is worth looking at – the Philippine Star has a report on it here:
" Aragoncillo’s admission had revealed "the extent of raw ambition among self-serving politicians in the Philippines who will not hesitate to use all foul means to grab power, even to the extent of putting to test our time-honored ties with the US." Aragoncillo, a former US marine who worked at the White House and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as an intelligence analyst, on Thursday admitted passing classified information to Filipino opposition politicians to help an attempt to overthrow Mrs. Arroyo.'
But am told there is another – "something is coming up that is bigger than Arragoncillo" – about a slush fund for "regime change" by any means in Manila that amounts to billions of pesos partly put up by both destabilizers and non-filipino's. funds allegedly hidden away worth over 3.250 Billion pesos.
"In the light of the Aragoncillo’s admission, Bunye said the Philippine government is expecting more developments to unfold and reveal the extent of the conspiracy and the involvement of Filipino opposition politicians."
