Blogspace Palawan: Batul case blogs in the last frontier

Looking on the web – for stories I chanced back to one of the sites hover about the PCIJ web-blog to find a old name I know too well from my past media career and first sojourn in print. Redempto Anda- his blogsite veriosn of the community newspaper the palawan sun is alive and well- i used to look at the Palawan Sun when I was desk editor at ABS-CBN for balance and clear objective reporting when I was based in Manila.

I always – told reporters who worked palawan stories for my former network – If its in The SUN, it must be true.

Anyhow my only problem is Dempto seems to be going through a dark periond and is using a black and white layout making it hard to read.

He reported on the growing blogspace entries on the Batul case and I lift the links from his and what he wrote in a fine article on the subject.

http://www.pcij.org/blog/?p=944 – the site is run by the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism and contains various links to similar blogs.

But with 'The Sun' back online its good to read an old rag I used to write for… still rises above the mess and reports anew.

nice to see you guys back in clyberspace…
