Like my posts being electric – I know my readership is also eclectic as well with a lot of reach into lot of places. Anything anyone can do to help in this case mentioned by Mediabistro would be a great help. I hope pray and feel for these men and thier families.
Perhaps someone somewhere reading this can pick up a phone and do little more than the ussaul to help out considering these men – always have done their best to get both sides – all sides – to make things fair and balanced.

FNCers Kidnapped In Gaza: “Please Let Him Come Home. Please,” McNaught Says
Anita McNaught made another tearful televised appeal to her husband’s kidnappers today.
“If somebody knows any information, can you please tell us because I want him home so much. He and his colleague, Steve, don’t deserve this. They are good men, they are good men and they should be allowed to come home. Please let him come home. Please,” McNaught said before breaking down in tears, according to the AP…
FNCers Kidnapped In Gaza: “We Still Have No Word On Their Whereabouts…”

FNCers Kidnapped In Gaza: Journo Says Palestinian Authority Has Info About Captors
“Fares Akram, who works in the same building as Mr Wiig, says the Hamas-led Authority has what it calls ‘initial information’ which could help find the journalists,” The NZ Newswire says. “He believes the Palestinian Authority knows the identity of the captors and where they are holding the journalists. But he says the authority will not use force to free the journalists because this may endanger their safety.”
Several NZ publications have repeated the claims. “I’ve seen those reports too but nothing’s come through to us that changes the current situation,” the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesman says…
FNCers Kidnapped In Gaza: CPJ Issues New Call For Centanni & Wiig’s Release
The Committee to Protect Journalists has issued a new statement about the kidnapping of two FNC employees. “Our concern for the safety and well being of our colleagues grows every day they are missing,” CPJ Executive Director Joel Simon says. “We again call on those holding Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig to free them at once. There can be no justification for the targeting of journalists, who are civilians, and who were in this case simply doing their jobs. Palestinian authorities must do everything in their power to help ensure the rapid release of these two journalists.”
The CPJ’s sources say the two journalists “were taken in a Mitsubishi Magnum pickup truck…”
