Indonesia B737 102 aboard missing over Sulawesi
Coming three days after a interisland ferry was lost in a storm. Now a plane carrying over a hundred people is missing for more than twelve hours and is feared to have gone down considering fuel aboard and no reports of it landing anywhere in the area.

The plane was bound for Manado – a popular tourist destination – with divers and pleasure travelers it lies south of the Philippines off of Mindanao. There are scores of islands where it could have landed though in the area. However what kind of landing is something many are worried about.
The area is well traveled by numerous ships and fishing vessels. There are numerous unpopulated islands however as well as reefs and islets.  ‘The Boeing 737-400 and the flight originated in Jakarta with a stop in Surabaya.‘  If the plane went down and ditched it is only a mater of time until it will be and it’s passengers found. It would be extremely rare for anything as large as a 737 to go unnoticed for long.

Authorities are still conducting a search and check of any areas where the plane could have gone. It was supposed to have landed at 3:42 pm local time. tracking beacons have been triangulated over a wide area of Sulawesi from the Mountains to the Coastline.
