Bomb explodes in Southern Philippines
Reports say two people were injured in a bomb blast in the southern Philippine ARMM region. The blast in Cotabato City has been blamed on Islamic extremists of the Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiah.

The blast came outside a popular fast food shop in the city. around five bombs have either gone off or been discovered in the area. my gut feel is that more are not being reported as part of the normal pattern of denying militants media space when ‘events’ happen.
